How did you come up with the idea for this product?

We tried every digital pen you can imagine, but no piece of hardware felt as natural as pen and paper. Lukewarm about clunky alternatives with batteries to charge, and the cost of expensive devices, we focused on user-friendly simplicity, setting out to develop the coolest, most innovative notebook in the world.

What makes your product special?

Unlike other cloud-integrated notebooks, Rocketbook is totally unplugged–no need for clunky hardware that requires batteries or charging. We offer cloud integration with not just one–but eight–of the hottest productivity apps. The Rocketbook Color is affordable, infinitely reusable, and always in airplane mode.

What has been the best part of your startup experience?

Our product evolution is completely user-driven! We love working with Rocketbook users to understand how to make our smart notebooks even better. Many current and planned features are the result of suggestions and other dialog about what users wanted next.
